This years Captains day was my first as Captain and probably my last.

 

That said, due to the focus of our committee led by Dave Watts it will always remain one of the highlights of my Captaincy, it is fair to say it could not have gone better.

 

A fantastic turnout, fabulous weather albeit a little hot towards the end for those last out, and one of Mrs A excellent hot salad buffet just added to a perfect day.

 

A big thank to David Baker for prizing money out of people for our raffle as only he can do, he also made sure everyone left with a prize which is commendable, a thanks goes to Andrew Wyatt for recording the event, with which, as usual Dave Sephton will work his magic on our website

 

In conclusion l know a lot of hard work went into today success, which l really appreciate and l feel privileged to be this years Captain.
