This years annual Autumn tour took place at Greetham Valley Golf Club, when 18 Venerable’s tackle their two main courses over three days.

 

Both courses were in excellent condition and a pleasure to play. The weather was one of the hottest periods of the year, which meant lots of water had to be consumed to prevent dehydration.

 

The hotel provided excellent cuisine which was served up by friendly staff making the occasion more special.

 

One of my main memories will be of how everyone got on, and enjoyed themselves.

The organiser of the tour was Dave Watts who l would like to thank on behalf of everyone for an excellent job.

 

This years winner of the Autumn Tour Trophy was Andrew Wyatt (80Pts) on count back from John Fisher. A big Well Done to both of them.
