Strokeplay Trophy 22nd June 2022
In what may be described as ideal golfing conditions 17 Venerables set off to contest The Strokeplay Trophy. Playing from the white tees proved a little too much for a few of our number, but nevertheless some excellent scores were achieved.
The trophy was won with a nett score of 66 by David Baker, five strokes clear, of the second and third placed participants Steve Truckle ( nett 71 OCB ) and Dave Watts ( nett 71 OCB ).
A most enjoyable day with every body going home with a good looking sun tan !
